Specific beats clever.
We track 140+ nutrients because there are 140+ nutrients that matter. Not because the round number sells.
About
So we built one that tracks what actually matters. Here's what we're doing, why we're doing it, and who's doing it.
Most nutrition apps treat food like accounting. Calories in, calories out, with a few macros sprinkled on top. That math doesn't answer the question people actually ask, which is "am I getting what my body needs?"
Real bodies run on 140+ nutrients, not three. Most of them are quietly missing from most people's days. Iron, magnesium, omega-3, B12, vitamin D, iodine, zinc, choline. We built OrthoFoodie to make the picture visible, then close the gaps with food.
We're a small team. We use the app every day. When something is broken, we feel it before you do, and that's how we want to keep it.
By the numbers
What we stand for
We track 140+ nutrients because there are 140+ nutrients that matter. Not because the round number sells.
The coach suggests meals. It doesn't hawk supplements or rank diet ideologies. If we ever do, we'll tell you so plainly.
Targets adapt to your wearables. A 30 km bike ride moves the numbers. A bad night moves the numbers. You don't get the same plan as a stranger.
We'll never tell you a deficit you don't have to drive a sale. We'll never replace a clinician. We'll tell you when something is on our roadmap and not yet real.
A note from the founder
Years of bloodwork that looked fine on paper. Days where energy collapsed for no reason a calorie counter could explain. The fix wasn't more discipline. It was more information about food. OrthoFoodie is that information, made practical. If you try it and it doesn't change how you eat in two weeks, write to me directly.
